These cooling options are ideal for slip conditions. The Magpowr cooling options are Forced Air Cooled, Water Cooled, Forced Air Cooled and Water Cooled, and there Overspeed Control.
Overspeed Control
This option is perfect for most Magpowr rewinds, open loop and closed loop controllers. The way this work is that the controller controls the overspeed and heat as a rewind roll grows in diameter and the rpm slows.
Water Cooled
The way this option has been designed is the The water is pressurized and pushed through the hollow rotor and the goes through the shaft and ends up at water fitting or coupling. This Magpowr option is available for models that have the letter W after the model number.
Forced Air Cooled
This option is attacted to the top of the clutch / brake, it is a big blower that forces air into the mechanism. This option is perfect for clutches and brakes with low RPMs.
Forced Air and Water Cooled
This unit is the best at cooling your units down by utilizing both air and water to cool.
